En/ Closing Panel: On Sunday evening at 6 pm, as the weekend comes to the end, we have invited three Berlin-based initiatives that are either implicitly or explicitly engaged with the main themes of the symposium for a panel discussion with the title of: “(Re)Imagining Futures for Berlin: Crafting a Collective Tomorrow”. Together with Kristin Lazarova and Nina Peters of Urbane Praxis, Lena Löhnert of urban fragment observatory (UfoUfo), and Djamila Hafner of Ifa diaspora, we aim to explore how the future of Berlin can be shaped, how collective connections can be strengthened, and marginalized voices can be centered. In an open discussion, we also will invite the audience to share their own thoughts and experiences.
De/ Abschlusspanel: Zum Abschluss des Wochenendes haben wir drei in Berlin ansässige Initiativen, die sich mal implizit, mal explizit mit den Themenschwerpunkten des Symposiums beschäftigen, eingeladen zu einer Podiumsdiskussion mit dem Titel "(Re)Imagining Futures for Berlin: Crafting a Collective Tomorrow". Am Sonntag, 18 Uhr, möchten wir gemeinsam mit Kristin Lazarova und Nina Peters von Urbane Praxis, Lena Löhnert von urban fragment observatory (UfoUfo) und Djamila Hafner von Ifa diaspora erkunden, wie die Zukunft Berlins gestaltet werden kann, wie kollektive Verbindungen gestärkt und marginalisierte Stimmen zentriert werden können. In einer offenen Diskussion laden wir das Publikum dazu ein, ihre eigenen Gedanken und Erfahrungen zu teilen. Das Panel wird in englischer Lautsprache stattfinden.

Location Info
Für Rollstuhlnutzende ist das Gelände der floating university über Rampen barrierefrei zugänglich, eine entsprechende barrierefreie Toilette ist vorhanden. Alle Beiträge werden in deutscher und/oder englischer Sprache gehalten. Samstag und Sonntag wird eine Kinderbetreuung angeboten. Das Symposium bietet keinen Raum für Rassismus, Faschismus, Sexismus, Ableismus und andere Formen von Diskriminierung! Ein Awareness-Team wird vor Ort alle drei Tage für Dich/Euch ansprechbar sein.
For wheelchair users, the premises of floating university are barrier-free accessible via ramps; a corresponding barrier-free toilet is available. All presentations will be held in German and/or English. Child care will be provided on Saturday and Sunday. The symposium gives no space for racism, fascism, sexism, ableism and other forms of discrimination! An awareness team will be available for you on site all the three days.
